WORKSHOPS
& PRESENTATIONS
Dr. Foley
offers a variety of workshops available to both individuals and couples
for personal and relationship growth.
According to a recently released Time/CNN poll, two thirds of American
answered "yes" when asked if "people should be required
to take a marriage-education course before they can get a marriage license."
With the American divorce rate at 55% - a rate that has quadrupled in
the past 20 years - this might not be such a bad idea.
The workshops are designed to help men and women understand the fact
that they have
different needs," explains Dr. Susan B. Foley. "A woman can
turn a man off without knowing what she did wrong and a man often fails
to perceive a woman's need to share her feelings and talk openly about
her problems."
Participants learn to understand the motivational differences between
the sexes, how their past influences their current relationships, and
how to keep passion alive.
The goal of workshops is to enable participants to internalize successful
methods of communication.
